The said communiques were published last year, but they entered into force on 1st June, 2014. With the rearrangement intermediary institutes divided into three groups based on the licence they operate and mandatory minimum capital requirement is set accordingly. They have to comply with the introduced requirement by 1st June, 2014. Failing to do so may result the cancellation of the licence entirely. One of the assumption how players may attempt to meet the requirement is seeking out partners to provide more equity .. which may be achieved through M&A.
