KILIÇ & Partners African and Middle Easten Legal Desk, based in our Istanbul office, provides provide international professional legal services representation and consultation for companies and clients based in Arabic speaking countries in addition to African countries on their activities in Turkey as well as to Turkish clients on their projects in these area. The team is led by Dr. Harun KILIÇ, LL.M., and coordinated by Dr. cand. Siobhan Yorgun, LL.M. in assistance. with international legal counsel providing advice to clients in English, Arabic, French, Dutch, Mandarin, and Turkish

 

Siobhan in particular has experience in African mining, regulatory advice and assistance; banking and pension fund litigation and arbitration, administrative law, public procurement (tender) advice for both government and private sector entities; and pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance advice. The team also offers consultations on international trade, cross-border transactions, Islamic finance and sukuk, and corporate activities.

Our practice areas are varied and extensive, although we pride ourselves on being able to tailor our legal services, to fit our individual corporate clients business needs. As well as Afrikaans, English, French and Arabic amongst other languages spoken. Within our team we have native Turkish, Dutch, Ukranian, Kazakh and Russian qualified lawyers and we are able to provide our legal services, both in Turkey and abroad including the Africa, EU, CIS and Americas, with substantial knowledge of Middle Eastern law and regulation, as well as considerable experience in International cross border business issues.

 

The KILIÇ & Partners African Legal Team, regularly advises Turkish companies on the legal matters of their projects in the African region including North African member countries as well as South Africa. We also cooperate with experienced African legal partners.
