Ferrero is authorized to buy Turkey’s largest hazelnut manufacturer
On 12 September 2014, the European Commission had decided to clear the way for Ferrero’s buyout of Turkey’s largest hazelnut manufacturer Oltan, stating that the buyout would not raise any anti-competition concerns within the EU.
The European Commission received a notification of the proposed purchase of Oltan by the Italian company Ferrero International on 7 August 2014.
